"I wanted to email you all to say a huge THANK YOU for providing a great CNA education for me. I was accepted to CSU Channel Island's BSN program, and I started a few weeks ago. I've got to say that the skills I learned at VTI have already helped so much during my skills labs at CSUCI. There are a few students who do not have any clinical experience, and I can see that learning these skills on top of taking all of our lecture classes is quite overwhelming for them. I'm glad I can help them in lab, and that is all because of you!!!!

At CSUCI, everyone accepted had a stellar, straight-A GPA, so competing on grades alone wasn't enough. The only real deciding factor to get into the program is that you either have to be totally fluent in another language, or you have to have your CNA with work experience. Thankfully, I was able to compete based on having my CNA and work experience at Oak View in Thousand Oaks. Without VTI, I would have never got in. Thanks so much!!! Love you guys!"

"PathPoint’s Youth Networked Services program has worked with VTI for many years, helping young adults with barriers to employment to succeed.  The young adults that we refer to VTI for the C.N.A. training successfully complete their vocation training certificate and go on to become state certified, enabling them to work in nursing facilities.  VTI’s small class settings enable students to get the one-on-one experience.  One recent student is Kaylyn. With funds from WIOA (Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act), we were able to help her enroll in the C.N.A. program and provided tuition assistance, school clothes, and transportation assistance. After completing the program and obtaining her license, Kaylyn secured a job at a healthcare center for seniors."
