Jannet Wharton founded Ventura Training Institute in 2009, pursuing a vision that was over 30 years in the making. When she immigrated to the United States in the 1980s, she faced many challenges on her journey to become a Registered Nurse. For years, she worked odd jobs to support her family and pay for her education; but she never once lost sight of her dream. Eventually, her hard work paid off and she received her nursing degree from Ventura College. Now, with over 20 years of experience as a RN in the medical field, Jannet founded Ventura Training Institute to help others achieve their dreams as well. Through Ventura Training Institute, she hopes to continually inspire students to believe in themselves and the endless possibilities that the medical field can offer.
